The Ridgefield School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Lindsay McQuiston as its newest administrator. McQuiston will serve as an assistant principal at Ridgefield High School replacing Allen Andringa, who is retiring at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year.
McQuiston is currently the assistant principal at Prairie High School in the Battle Ground Public Schools district. She is the school’s assessment coordinator and Advanced Placement testing coordinator, oversees scheduling, forecasting and the master schedule and serves as the treasurer for the district’s Administrative Association. McQuiston has worked at Prairie High School since 2012, where she started as a high school math teacher.
“I am thrilled to welcome Lindsay to the RHS community,” said RHS Principal Christen Palmer. “It is wonderful to have an educator of her caliber and with her experience joining the Spudder family.”
Prior to beginning her employment at Prairie High School, McQuiston taught middle school math in Puerto Rico and Spain from 2007 to 2011, and in Forest Grove, OR for the 2011-2012 school year.
“I am honored to be joining the administrative team at Ridgefield High School,” McQuiston said. “I cannot wait to build connections with staff, students and families, and begin working with and for the community I will be raising my family in. I couldn’t be more excited to be a Spudder!”
McQuiston has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in mathematics from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Mathematics degree from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. Additionally, she earned her Administrative Services Certification from Concordia University in Portland, OR.
